Primm not returning as Sailfish head coach

Palm Beach Atlantic University men's head basketball coach Terry Primm will not be returning next season with the Sailfish after six seasons with the school.

The Sailfish went 1-24 under Primm this season. Their only win in the 2012-13 season came on Nov. 14 at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Fla.

His overall coaching record at Palm Beach Atlantic University in six seasons was 36-127.

Primm took over as head coach of the Sailfish in the 2007-08 season. The team went 4-22 under Primm in his first season.

In the 2008-09 season, Primm led the team to a 9-19 record beating Barry University twice that season.

Primm led the Sailfish to a 6-24 record in the 2009-10 season. The Sailfish won the NCCAA South Region championship that season.

In the 2010-11 season under Primm, the team had a record of 12-13. Palm Beach Atlantic played in the Jay McCormick Memorial Classic and the Sailfish classic tournaments that season.

The Sailfish only won four games in the 2011-12 season under Primm.

He was a player with the Sailfish from 1995-1997. Primm was also the recruiting coordinator with the Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish.

Primm has a bachelor's degree and a Master's degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University. He has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. In the Master's program, he has a degree in Organizational Leadership.

Primm has one daughter and currently lives in West Palm Beach, Fla.
