Jeff Price has been named the new head basketball coach of the Lynn University Fighting Knights.This is his second stint with the Fighting Knights. Price was the first head coach in Lynn history from 1993-99.
Price is taking over for Scott McMillin, who resigned after 10 seasons with the school. Lynn only won 11 games all of last season and three wins in the Sunshine State Conference.
During his six year tenure with Lynn from 1993-99, he won 20 games or more five of those years.
In the 1996-97 season with Lynn, Price led the program to a 28-3 record and an NCAA Division II Tournament National Semifinals appearance.
After he left Lynn in 1999, Price was the head coach at Georgia Southern for 10 seasons and won 138 games there.
Price took over as the head coach at West Virginia Wesleyan for one season in 2010-11.
Before returning to Lynn, Price was the interim head coach last season at South Alabama.
In 1981, Price earned a bachelor's degree from Pikeville College, which is located in Kentucky.
He is originally from Columbus, Ohio. Price is married to his wife Jody. They have one son and one daughter.
