McMillin has been Lynn head coach since 2003-04 season

Scott McMillin is the men's head basketball coach of the Lynn University Fighting Knights.

McMillin has been the head coach of the Fighting Knights since 2003 when he was hired for the position.

When he was hired in 2003, McMillin was 26 years old and the youngest coach in NCAA Division II history.

Before he came to Lynn, McMillin was the head coach at Santa Fe Community College, which is in Gainesville, Fla. He led Santa Fe with a 36-25 record as the head coach in two seasons at the school.

In his second season as head coach, McMillin led the Fighting Knights to a 29-6 record and 13-3 in conference play. The 29 wins Lynn had in 2004-05 are the most wins in one season in school history. In 2004-05, Lynn won the South Regional NCAA Championship.

In 2005-06, McMillin led the Fighting Knights to another 20-win mark. Lynn's final record in 2005-06 was 20-9 and 11-5 in conference play.

The Fighting Knights haven't had a 20-win season since the 2005-06 season.

He graduated at the University at Buffalo in 1998.

Currently, the Fighting Knights have an 11-12 record and are 3-10 in conference play.

McMillin is originally from Kansas and went to high school there. He is married with his wife Crystal, and has one daughter.

Lynn University is a small, private university with 2,109 students located in Boca Raton, Fla.
